The first thing you should know: gaining weight is ugliness it's not the same thing. rhaenyra targaryen was always well regarded when she was young (youth always favors), because she was loved and well regarded by all. After the dragon dance her description of her beauty or attraction dropped 100%. Showing that even these issues are associated with power and winner.
Remembering that the characteristics of a fuller woman in an equal world and time of game of thrones is considered very beautiful.
